From 1965 to the early 1990s, the 1000 Km di Monza, Trofeo Filippo Caracciolo, was one of the most classic endurance races, a sort of Italian 24 Hours of Le Mans, for many seasons part of the World Championship for Sports and Prototypes cars.
On that historic track and on its "sopraelevata", at least for the first years, drivers and cars of the highest stature, including Porsches, Ferraris and Fords, competed and gave life to unforgettable pages of motor sports.
A monumental work, signed by Aldo Zana, a well-known motoring historian, which covers, year by year, all editions of the race, including those held from 1995 to 2008. Each year is complete with the starting grid and the final classification.
1000 Km di Monza 1965-2008 has 408 pages and a wealth of photographs, mostly unpublished, with 263 b/w and 496 colour images.
Also available the English edition The Monza 1000 Km 1965-2008.
