In the Ferrari nomenclature, the 250 LM is the replacement for the 250 GTO. Nervertheless international automobile authorities consider it as a Sport. Thirty-two 250 LMs were built, they have been involved in more than 700 events and have won dozens of victories, including the 9 Hours of Kyalami, the 500 km of Spa-Francorchamps; the 1000 km of Paris, the 12 Hours of Reims and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This is the story of Maranello Concessionaires Ltd. and his racing team, the history of the Ferrari 250 LM and the one that won the first victory of this model.
In fact, the 250 LM ch. 5895 of the Maranello Concessionaires is precisely the one that reported the first absolute victory of a 250 LM. The history of this berlinetta has allowed the author to speak also of the English Scuderia and therefore of the charismatic colonel "Ronnie" Hoare.
