Year 1967. Alfa Romeo produces 18 examples of the 33 Stradale, a homologated version of the Tipo 33 used in competition. A car considered by many one of the most beautiful of all times and consigned to history for its totally performance-oriented design philosophy, which required a radical reduction in weight.
It is this car that has inspired Alfa Romeo 4C and whose legacy it takes up, both formally and structurally. What unites them, from the first glance, is a series of volumes in which every single element has an essential function, where nothing is superfluous. A balance made up of coherent choices in which the demands of mechanics and those of style find absolute harmony.
No concession to aesthetics for its own sake, to comfort, to the desire to surprise: the essence of Alfa Romeo 4C is performance. And all the styling choices are optimised for this objective.
The result is a car that conveys pure sportiness. Each of the construction elements is conceived for a precise aerodynamic function and contributes to a negative downforce coefficient that guarantees maximum grip on the ground during lateral acceleration.
