In 1913, this brand of luxury and racing cars was created by Robert Bamfort and Lionel Martin.
The latter won the Aston Clinton race in the same year. And so the legendary name Aston Martin was born, in memory of the victory, associated with that of the winner.
The history of the British brand is marked by many events and changes, but always with quality and sportsmanship at the forefront.
It was only in 1947, with David Brown, that Aston Martin entered the pantheon of dream cars, with the famous and long-lived DB series.
Its history, built around sportiness and luxury, is set to continue for a long time, although it took a new turn in early 2020 when the brand was bought by billionaire Lawrence Stroll, owner of Racing Point F1.
