A manual, first published in 1991, and which has become the textbook of the Federal Drivers' School.

The author, Sergio Barbasio, was several times Italian Rally Champion. He raced a Lancia Fulvia HF in the 1970s and was nicknamed 'Fox', the fox, because he combined good feet with lively intelligence that often resulted in pure astuteness.

Everything is described in detail with passion and competence, everything appears extremely appealing because the technical details are seasoned with generous and amusing personal anecdotes.

From the driving position to the 'bend' on two wheels; from special stages pulled to the death to the drifting that makes the spectators delirious; from advice on race strategy to that on nutrition; from the fussiness with which a recognition must be carried out to the shrewdness to be adopted in the race.
