Dal rombo rosso al settembre nero, the memories of a combative career in sports journalism of a decanus of motoring journalists: Ezio Pirazzini.
His very long career began in the early 1950s. A reporter for Resto del Carlino, he had been involved in over 40 publications.
His great passion, personal and professional, has always been engines. Bikes, above all. For years, he held a very popular column in Motosprint.
He also wrote several books, including Addio Campione, I giorni dell'ira e del dolore (finalist at the Bancarella sport prize), I giorni del coraggio and Storia della Targa Florio.
Enzo Ferrari dedicated a portrait to him in his book Il Flobert (1976). He followed five Olympics, until that of 1972 in Munich, at the end of which he wrote a reportage on the terrorist attack against the Israeli team.
