The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona is considered one of the most charismatic and exciting cars ever built, one of the great 'classics' of all time.

It represents the last stage of evolution of the Berlinetta Gran Turismos produced by Maranello, and because of this it holds a special place in the hearts of all thoroughbred car enthusiasts.

The Daytona is much more than a mass-produced fast car, it is a supercar of formidable performance, last in a successful series of 12-cylinder V-engined Ferraris, before the advent of the Berlinetta Boxer with a 12-cylinder mid-engine.

The entire biography of this model is told in the pages of this book by Doug Nye, an authority on Ferrari, followed by an incisive driving impression written by Paul Frère, eminent technical journalist and former Ferrari team driver.

In these pages you will find the fascinating history of Daytona, a stunning exclusive photographic portfolio of one of the best preserved examples of this model, plus many accounts of its sporting exploits.

Racing versions of Daytona dominated the international Grand Touring class at its peak in the early 1970s, and excelled particularly in the most famous endurance races, such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Daytona, as well as the legendary Tour de France, which took place for a whole week on track, road and in special hill climbs.

No supercar enthusiast should miss this book...
