The first Ferrari appeared in 1947. It was intended for racing, like the cars that followed it, at least for the first few years.

However, it did not take long for the small Italian manufacturer to achieve its first victories. Some suppliers of headlight bulbs, tyres, shock absorbers and spark plugs saw the opportunity to promote their specialities by associating Ferrari cars with their advertising.

In the 1970s and 1980s, Ferrari was synonymous of sportiness and luxury. The new advertisers did not take long to realise the advantages for their brand in being associated with the Italian manufacturer and showcasing their product with a red Ferrari racing car.

Hundreds of ads were created, published in the press and broadcast on billboards. The most beautiful, interesting, original and many others are collected in these pages.
