Coupé and Barchetta, two truly unusual, different Fiats, two cars that immediately generated great interest and curiosity when they appeared in the mid-1990s.
What immediately attracted people were their clean, essential, almost iconic lines, defined by important names like Chris Bangle, Andreas Zapatinas and Mario Bianchi Anderloni.
To these two models the Turin-based company entrusted the difficult mission of introducing the brand to a market segment, that of mid-range sports cars - the barchetta, moreover, with open bodywork - in which competition was certainly present, and at a high level.
This monograph retraces the stylistic and technical genesis of the two models, giving voice to some protagonists of the time, and making use once again of precious archive, photographic and documentary material.
Fiat Coupé and Barchetta has 120 pages and a wealth of photographs, with hundreds of images, in colour and b/w.
