Another title in the interesting Masterpieces of Style series, which is dedicated to Ghia.
Retracing the events that have marked the history of Ghia means coming across models of particular charm and fascination such as the Fiat 508 Sport Spider (1934), several Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 as well as the 1900 SS Abarth (1954), passing through some unusual Ferraris appeared in the same decade.
This was a decade of fundamental importance for Ghia which, one by one, created opulent cars inspired by the stylistic canons in vogue in America at that time, but also by style essays such as the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia (1955).
No less prolific were the Sixties with other "classics" such as Fiat 2300 S (1960), De Tomaso Mangusta and Pantera (1966 and 1970) and, of course, the immortal Ghibli of 1966.
Then, like other Italian coachbuilders, Ghia entered a period of crisis that led to several changeovers until the brand was acquired by Ford.
