This stunning publication chronicles the Swiss Grand Prix from the very first race in 1923, through to 1954, and the two additional meetings in 1975 and 1982.

The quality of the photographs both in content and reproduction is stunning, with fascinating images of the lead cars and drivers, such as Varzi in conversation, Zehender with a 4C2500 Maserati, mechanics working on the Nuvolari 8CM Maserati in 1934, the Auto Union team preparing a V16, and so on.

This is all super imagery and the list could be almost endless. For the post war era, there are images of the 6 cylinder T26C Talbot, the mechanic working in the line-up of 3 158 Alfa Romeos, and then we have the Ferraris and Veritas Meteor single seater racing car.

During the 1952 Bern event, there are also Sports cars running with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz 300SL and Aston Martin DB2, then back to Grand Prix cars in the 1982 event with Alain Prost in the Renault RE30B.

Grand Prix Suisse covers it all. The final chapters look at the various circuits where the event has been run: Meyrin in the early years, then on to Montreux and Bern, followed by Geneve, Lausanne, Erlen and Dijon.

Also included are the race results and all entrants, as well as colour reproductions of the programme covers. The text is dual language, German and French.

The book is contained in an elegant Art Déco styled slip case.
