This book is a worthy tribute to the Ceirano brothers from Cuneo, who were authentic pioneers in the two- and four-wheel industry, having created the first industrial production of cars with the 'internal combustion engine'.
"In this book," explains author Raffaele Sasso, "there is a historical reconstruction of the life of the Ceirano brothers, who left Cuneo for Turin with ideas for future achievements in the bike, motorbike and car sectors, the result of their inventiveness and foresight which, at the time, was ahead of its time. Putting together episodes and their lives was not easy, but thanks to the willingness of several people, it was also possible to reconstruct their companies, discovering that they were the first to build a car in Italy, beginning its first industrial production, but also that the 'Itala', the car that won the first Peking-Paris race in 1907, was born from their company and was their first production".
