A book devoted entirely to the "Rally of Sardinia." The history of the automotive industry is a major event on the pages of a book. Through photographs, documents and historical evidence, the book tells the prestigious car race. The volume, in luxurious dresses editorial, published by Serra, covers all the twelve editions of the race.
The book of over 520 pages, was made possible thanks to the meticulous research and historical archive of the Author, In Alfano, president of the Circle Sardo Automoto vintage SCQ, one of the main points of reference in the national historic motorsport and clubs federated ASI (Historical Automotoclub Italian). For the realization of the book, in addition to the support of members dell'SCQ, was also crucial support of the protagonists of the Rally of Sardinia, as Mario Casula, Gianni Vacca and Sandro Best (only winners Sardinian Rallye), Alfonso De Riso, Franco Ballestri, Sandro Sorcinelli, Sergio Farris, Antonello Palmas, Michele Prigigallo, Riccardo Coco, Pierluigi Dessanay, Matzella and Beppe Sergio Piras, many of whom will participate in the press conference to present the book.
"The Rally of Sardinia 1957-1968", with a preface entrusted to journalist Andrea Coco, is a chronological collection of the material of the time: regulations, list of starters, charts, photographs, while a separate chapter is composed of the memories of those who the Rally of Sardinia has lived in the forefront.
