The 70th anniversary of the Abarth is celebrated, but few people know that Carlo Abarth was able to realize his dream thanks to a pilot who had a short, striking career: Guido Scagliarini.
Born in Finale Emilia on November 13, 1914 - His zodiac sign, Scorpio, inspired the choice of the brand - Guido Scagliarini allowed the Abarth & C. to be established in Bologna on March 31, 1949. Its capital was 90% held from his family.
An intense life (from the beginning in 1946 with Stanguellini, to the last race held with the Abarth 205 berlinetta in 1950), told by his nephew through unpublished photographs, documents of the time, family memories and details on the races and cars of the era.
