In 1974, the CX was born under obscure auspices. On the verge of bankruptcy, Citroën must decide to go under the control of Peugeot. At the same time, the consequences of the first oil crisis do not favor the launch of an important road.
Available in many versions, from the Diesel sedan to the luxurious Prestige, passing through the aggressive GTI and GTI Turbo, it quickly gains a special place in the heart of French motorists. More than forty years after its launch, it has become, like the Traction or the DS for their time, the object of the desire of the new generations of collectors. It is right today to pay tribute to this car.
