If there is one car that, back in the year of 1950, was the first to codify the concept of the 'Italian GT', it was the Lancia Aurelia.
An absolute masterpiece and a model that, throughout the 1950s, provided fertile ground for the main Italian coachbuilders as well as - on a sporting level - a car with excellent qualities with which to compete in the main road and track races of the time, including the Mille Miglia.
All this was conceived around the unfailingly refined mechanics of the Lancia marque.
With the aid of precious iconographic material - much of it previously unpublished - the book traces the entire technical, stylistic and sporting history of this authentic milestone in Italian and international motoring.
