Beta Montecarlo, LC1 and LC2 were the Lancias that, between the end of the 1970s and the beginning of the following decade, brought the glorious Italian marque to the world's racetracks, winning the Marche-Endurance title in 1980-81.
They were driven by some of the Italian drivers who were also protagonists in Formula 1 in those years, like Michele Alboreto, Riccardo Patrese, Piercarlo Ghinzani, Alessandro Nannini, Teo Fabi - just to name a few - led by the unfailing Cesare Fiorio.
This new volume by Sergio Remondino and Vittorio Roberti is dedicated to those cars and men, a book that joins the other two works focusing on Lancia Group B and the brand's golden era in World Rallying.
The winning formula is always the same: the technical and sporting history of the various cars alternates with precious, often completely unpublished material, much of it from Reinhard Klein's archive. Making the volume even richer are the exclusive interview with Giampaolo Dallara and the precious drawings by Alessandro Cordasco.
Lancia Endurance Beta Montecarlo - LC1 - LC2 features 218 pages and a wealth of photographs, with no less than 255 images, 219 in colour and 36 in b/w.
