The story of the two Porsche 911R models told in 384 pages. The book covers the period from the birth of 911R in 1967, of which only 20 cars and 4 prototypes were produced, up to the new 911R of 2016. Authors Christoph Mäder, Georg Konradsheim and Thomas Gruber dedicated a year and a half to research, the drafting and writing of this book which includes: all the races in which Porsche's work team participated, the story behind the development of both the 911R, the technique of both cars, including engines, transmissions, suspension and aerodynamics and a list of all chassis numbers.
The book "911 R" gives the reader the feeling of having visited the Weissach construction offices. More than 15 Porsche engineers were interviewed for this book.
