The 1970s marked the explosion of Italian rallies. It all started in 1964 with the organization of the S. Martino di Castrozza, conceived by Luigi Stochino, which was the beginning of a Veneto school of both organizers and drivers, above all Sandro Munari.
In those years, all the organizers involved in regularity races switched to rallies, giving rise to a flowering of drivers, so that the top rankings for a long time, both nationally and worldwide, spoke Veneto.
On this wave, overwhelming, the "Campagnolo" was born in Vicenza. Such was the success of national participation that the specialized and nonspecialized press reported all the organisational phases and the running of the race.
Rally Campagnolo 1973-1977 includes lists of entrants, special stages and results of all editions. It is completed by a splendid collection of 110 unpublished photos, all in large format.
In the same series "Documenti di Rally che furono", San Martino di Castrozza 1964-1977 and Rally delle Alpi Orientali 1956-1978.
A prestigious work that cannot be lacking in the library of all motorsport enthusiasts
