REPARTO CORSE LANCIA STRATOS IL MITO DIVENTA LEGGENDA - LIMITED EDITION

The editorial project curated by Enrico and Paolo Borgogno with Thomas Popper and the authors Gianni Tonti, Emanuele Sanfront and Sergio Remondino, with the photographic support of Roberto Piccinini of Actualfoto and the video of Helmut Deimel, has required three years of work. Documental researches, interviews with the protagonists of the time, finding of photographs and various original documentation were carried out. Over 300 people collaborated directly with their memories and material.
The work, printed in a single edition with limited edition and numbered copies, consists of six volumes.
The first volume, of 444 pages, written by Gianni Tonti (technical director of the Lancia Racing Department) with the collaboration of Emanuele Sanfront, tells the story of the Stratos, from its birth until the end of its official sports career.
The second volume, signed by Gianni Tonti and Thomas Popper, contains the story of the protagonists and the photos, all exclusive, of the trials and tests that the Lancia Stratos carried out between a rally and the other and those that make the climate live again, and the characters who worked and lived in Borgo San Paolo in the premises of the legendary Reparto Corse. A "family archive", a historical relic of unpublished photos where the skills of the mechanics, technicians and Lancia men and women are highlighted.
In three other volumes, always 444 pages each, Emanuele Sanfront, Sergio Remondino and the testimonies of the protagonists tell the official Stratos and their competitive history. Here are revealed, for each of the nearly 200 races, the data, the memorabilia, the images and above all the emotions of those who experienced the event: a mix of funny moments, of panic, of discouragement but also and above all of passion and enthusiasm.
Complete the work a box/book containing 8 hours of video in 6 DVD-rom with trials/test and rally records, divided by year and then by livery (Marlboro, Alitalia, Pirelli, Chardonnet, Aseptogyl,...). Unique images that bring back memorable moments and feel the unmistakable sound of the legendary Dino Ferrari engine.
