The boats registered for the "Riva Duemila & 200" meeting that came to Lake Iseo from 7th to 10th September 2000 were "only" 104: an exceptional, unique and unforgettable event at the end of the summer of the second millennium.
The Riva Millennium Meeting indelibly marked the indelible and iconic role played in the history of world boating by Riva mahogany boats, which arrived for the occasion from all over the world.
Carlo Riva's emotion was great to see more than a hundred of his "creatures" roaring again on their home waters and stopping quietly after the race, one next to the other, at the jetties of the Sarnico shipyard where they were born over the course of half a century.
This precious volume, edited by Riccardo Sassoli, the tenacious and persevering creator and organiser of the event, immortalises the moments and protagonists, with beautiful colour images and rich, timely texts containing technical and production data on the main models.
