This publication is dedicated to the 1974 Targa Florio, the 58th edition of the oldest road race in the world. An extensive collection of exclusive images, many previously unpublished, by Roberto Barbato, in colour and b/w, tell the story of this event of unique and unrepeatable charm.

The 58th edition of the Targa Florio, which took place on 9 June 1974, will be remembered for the presence of important drivers and a large number of participants, many of top level, including the official Lancia Team, personally directed by Cesare Fiorio, with two beautiful Lancia Stratos Marlboro, for drivers Sandro Munari, Gerard Larrousse, Amilcare Ballestrieri and Jean Claude Andruet.

For the joy of enthusiasts, to challenge the Lancia Team, very fast cars with perfectly organised teams, like the Lola Ford T284 of Giorgio Pianta and Pino Pica (the fastest in test), the Abarth Osella of Boeris and Soria, the Lancia Stratos of Paleari and Pregliasco, the Porsche RSR of Palermitans Restivo and Merendino, the home favourite "Amphicar" in tandem with Savona, in a Chevron B23, and many other important protagonists.

The final victory will go to Lancia Stratos driven by Gerard Larrousse and Amilcare Ballestrieri, with Restivo and Merendino's Porsche RSR in second place overall. The book also contains all the results and data of the race organisation. 

Targa Florio 1974 Exclusive Images has 280 pages and 300 pictures, 250 in colour and 50 in b/w.
