Targa Florio. Un'epopea del Novecento was published in 2006 to celebrate the centenary of the Targa Florio, one of the oldest and most fascinating motor races.

The legend of the Coppa and the Targa Florio, fabulous Sicilian road races, is part of motor racing history. The epic of these famous road races began at the dawn of the 20th century: the first Coppa Florio was held in 1905, while the following year it was the turn of the "Targa".

The theatre of these races was the fascinating and challenging Madonie road circuit, along which Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lancia, Ferrari and Porsche were the protagonists of epic feats, winning the various editions of the classic Sicilian races.

The book retraces this fascinating epic with an exciting text, illustrated by hundreds of mostly unpublished images and documents, and is completed by an extensive section (150 pages) with the results of all the Coppa and Targa Florio editions.

Targa Florio. Un'epopea del Novecento - Il Libro Ufficiale del Centenario has 480 pages and over 500 images, in colour and b/w. Text in Italian.

Deluxe edition limited to 250 copies, printed on precious ivory paper, hand-numbered.
