The British Grand Prix is the oldest race in Formula 1, and has been run as a World Championship event since 1950.
Its long history stretches back to 1926, when the first race was held at Silverstone. The World Championship event has been held at such illustrious locations as Aintree, Brands Hatch and Silverstone, and the Mirrorpix photographers have chronicled the many dramatic races and events to occur over the years.
