One of the most successful titles of the series "racing Lives" was one dedicated to Tazio Nuvolari, in 2003, the year of the fiftieth anniversary of the death of the "mantovano volante".
Now sees a new biography-the twelfth in the series-dedicated to Achille Varzi, Nuvolari's driver who was among the most fierce antagonists and certainly what with him divided the Italians in two "factions" of passion.
It's no coincidence the volume, referenced in the title to both the unforgettable characters of motoring in the golden era between the two world wars of the twentieth century: Varzi.
The dark shadow of Nuvolari.
The text takes up another small bestsellers of Giorgio Nada Editore, A blind curve, Giorgio Terruzzi, published in 1991 and re-issued version now widely expanded with over 200 photographs and extensive appendices.
And care of the opera project are once again by Gianni Cancellieri and its traditional partners, Cesare De Agostini, entrusted with the preface.
