Crowned "Car designer of the century" in 1999, Giorgetto Giugiaro has designed almost 300 production car models and prototypes. In 1968, together with L. Bosio and A. Mantovani, he founded Italdesign, a study company for the automotive industry, with designs for BMW M1, Saab 9000, Panda, Golf, Thema, SEAT Ibiza, Renault 19, Hyundai Lantra, Grande Punto, Nuova Panda, to name just a few.
