Enzo Ferrari, more than anyone else, revolutionized the automotive scene and is recognized as the inventor of the modern sports car.
Ferrari infused audacity, originality and aesthetic perfectionism to make the 250GTO an absolute masterpiece.
It took Jean Berchon, a direct descendant of the Moët family, and Peter Sachs, a long-time 250GTO owner, two years of planning to organize the incredible reunion, subject of this volume, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary 250GTO.
23 of the 38 models built took part from 3 to 7 July 2012 along an itinerary that started from the cloister of the Abbey of St. Pierre d'Hautvillers, before heading to the Le Mans circuit, to the Loire châteaux and finally to Versailles.
The spectacular photographs are by Alberto Martinez, Richard Newton and Philippe Schlienger.
