The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione was born in 2008, a synthesis of the new 'Alfa Romeo philosophy' to reaffirm its uniqueness and ability to combine emotion, design efficacy and aerodynamics through the exaltation of driving pleasure.
From the concept to the version marketed in just 500 units, the modifications made by the Centro Stile of Arese have been very few; this supercar pleases and relaunches the marque's image among the most important collectors around the world.
The success will later be replicated by the 8C Spider - also in a limited series - which Top Gear anchorman Jeremy Clarkson described as the most beautiful car in the world.
Alfa Romeo 8C - Competition - Spider is the third title in the Supercars series, dedicated to these two literally bespoke Alfa cars. Extensive space is dedicated to history and the stylistic evolution of the two models, with an in-depth look at the interior fittings designed at the time by Frau.
There is also technical history and driving impressions of those who tested these cars on track. The iconographic repertory is extremely rich, largely taken from the archives of Quattroruote magazine.
