Audi: Il coraggio di osare, a real journey aboard Audi's four-wheelers that traces the history of this brand from the origins to present day (2023).
It was 1899 when the company A. Horch & Cie, specialised in repairing the very first cars that appeared on the market. When founder August Horch was ousted from his own company due to disputes with colleagues, he decided to establish August Horch Automobilwerke GmbH.
Soon, however, he was accused of being unable to use the registered name Horch, so, inspired by his son's Latin studies, he decided to translate the surname Horch (which means 'listen' in German) into the Latin word 'audi', with the same meaning.
From that moment onwards, the beginning of a true myth was laid down, whose products are still distinguished today by their quality, robustness, sportiness and elegance.
