Villages, landscapes and roads are the soul of rallying. With his narrative talent, Jean-François Boulet takes us to the heart of this sport, where every village, every curve, becomes protagonist.

If the Rallye de Monte Carlo, the Critérium des Cévennes, the Tour de Corse or the 1000 Lacs have been elevated to the rank of legends, it is thanks to their highpoints: Burzet, Morosaglia, Notre-Dame-de-la-Rouvière, the Moulinon, the Chartreuse, Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid, Marchampt, Ouninpohja…

The author guides us on a journey through mountains and forests, along tarmac, passes or paths, into the heart of thatched-roof houses… These places vibrate, resonate and shape destinies. Here, through their exploits and extraordinary journeys, men and women, drivers, co-drivers and unknowns have written the history of rallying.

From champions to the "forgotten", the profiles described by the author unfold one after the other, and the breath of adventure carries us through an exciting and unusual historical overview. But above all, this book is an authentic concentrate of passion.

Born in 1970, Jean-François Boulet lives in the Haute-Loire but claims his roots in the Ardèche. Passion for rallying has led him to cross Europe in search of stories and meetings. Although he has already brilliantly proved his talent as a storyteller in Rallyes-Magazine and on the Rallye-Sport website, this is his first book.

Etoiles du Rallye, de l'Ardèche à la Finlande features 138 pages and 60 pictures. Text in French.
