As the title suggests, this precious volume intends to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Ferrari, focusing more on images than on narrative.

The main objective is to describe the first 25 years of racing successes and victories of the brand, in a period from its foundation in 1947 to 1972, when it became incredibly famous and iconic worldwide.

Such successes were also achieved in Portugal, where Ferrari, in the 1950s and 1960s, was the undisputed protagonist in many of the races held on Portuguese soil, not only with foreign drivers, but also with Portuguese drivers, in famous circuits like Boavista (Porto), Vila Real, Monsanto and Montes Claros (Lisbon), Cascais and Vila do Conde.

The book also captures images of Ferrari in official and unofficial Formula 1 Grand Prix races, focusing also on the sports and endurance cars designed for major events like the ‘Mille Miglia’, banned as a road race in 1957, and the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, which has been held since 1923 - and is still organised today with great success - representing an extraordinary reason of prestige and publicity for the winning manufacturers.

Likewise, one can appreciate images of Ferrari, many of them previously unpublished, both single-seaters and sports cars, on other important circuits where the Prancing Horse brand achieved great results.
