Considered by many to be "the factory of champions" Formula 3 has played a fundamental role in launching and training protagonists in world motorsport. Since 1964, in fact, the so-called cadet category has allowed many youngsters to make their first experiences with a single-seater car and later move into Formula 1.

The history of motor racing is studded with names of great champions who moved their first steps in F.3. Among many: Jackie Stewart, Ronnie Peterson, Clay Regazzoni, Henry Pescarolo, Patrick Depailler, Riccardo Patrese, Elio De Angelis, Nigel Mansell, Nelson Piquet, Michele Alboreto, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher.

These are just some of the most famous drivers who have risen to the top of motor racing through the ranks of F.3. In fact, a look at the rankings of F.3 championships, including the Italian one, is enough to piece together a true history of modern motor racing.

This yearbook, full of stunning photos, illustrates the 1995 Italian Formula 3 Championship - 31st of the series - won by Luca Rangoni of the EF Project team in a Dallara F389-FIAT. There are also concise biographies of the protagonists, a brief history of the racing teams, line-ups and rankings of the ten rounds held.
