Maurizio Roasio, from Biella, started racing in 1967 with a modest R8 Gordini and soon afterwards moved on to the first prototype (an Abarth 1000 SP) of a very long series almost all marked Osella. He battled like a true gentleman driver against the most aristocratic champions of the speciality in a Guinness Book of Records.
Ortner, Schetty, Lualdi, Merzario, Pilone and then again Nesti, Baribbi, Vilarino, Egozkue, Stenger, Aguzzoni, Caliceti, Regosa, Tambone, Scola, Irlando, Danti, Cinelli, Tschager, Bormolini, Napione, Merli and Faggioli are just the best known of the many rivals Maurizio Roasio has met along the way.
Almost 50 years of challenges led on the edge of 200 km/h in a constant search for his own limit. An infinite passion told through the 200 pages of this exclusive volume in a limited edition of only 100 copies.
Maurizio Roasio - dalla R8 Gordini all'Osella FA30 1967 - 2014 has 192 pages and a rich photographic collection.
