The images of all 34 cars protagonists of the unforgettable auction organised by Sotheby's in Maranello on 28 June 2005, and collected in this elegant catalogue.
The auction included some of Maranello's most iconic cars but also celebrated Maserati models. The historical description of each car is accompanied by its technical data sheet, a portfolio and the palmarès (if it has a sporting heritage).
The sale of Ferrari and Maserati cars, produced over more than seventy years, was unique for many reasons, not least because it was held at the legendary Prancing Horse headquarters in Maranello, where all these cars - from the 1958 412 S to the Formula One F2004 - were built and tested.
Another reason, Sotheby's is the only auction house to hold a sale with the direct support of Ferrari. In fact, the event is the first ever where all vehicles are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, provided directly by Ferrari.
Months of meticulous research have verified the quality and perfection of each car in every detail.
Sotheby's at Ferrari has 255 pages, with a stunning photographic outfit.
