This photo book is entirely focused on participation of the Porsche 911 in various editions of Targa Florio, with exclusive images by photographers Roberto Barbato and Federico Marino.
Porsche 911s competed in Targa Florio uninterruptedly from 1966 to 1977, the year of the last edition of the oldest race in the world. A reliable, powerful, fast car, the Porsche 911 was perfectly suited to the difficult 72-kilometre course of the Targa Florio, where it achieved extraordinary results, led by drivers from all over the world.
In the book, the two best results obtained by this car in the legendary Targa Florio are highlighted with many exclusive images: the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR Martini Racing driven by Herbert Muller and Gijs Van Lennep that won the 1973 edition, while in the 1974 edition, the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR "Bla Bla" driven by Raffaele Restivo and "Apache" Alfonso Merendino, finished second overall.
The Porsche 911 Targa Florio Photo Book has 192 pages and includes all the results of the Porsche 911s' participation in the editions from 1966 to 1977.
