This is the second monograph dedicated by Franco Carmignani, a Roman journalist and historian, to Vallelunga. The previous one, Vallelunga un Autodromo per Roma 1951-2000, published in 2001, was a first work and aimed above all to give editorial dignity to half a century of history.

Fifty years that have seen the old Raniero Pesci racetrack grow from a sand track to a small autodrome, and then with its extension and acquisition by ACI to an international level facility.

Three lustra have passed, fifteen years of radical changes in society, people and infrastructures that mark the future realities and projections of the motorsport world as well.

The Campagnano facility has been transformed into an ultra-modern "Motor Valley" that includes the first Centro Guida Sicura (ACI-SARA) of excellence in Italy, large exhibition spaces, the Congress Centre, as well as the "Park Hotel" and the archaeological area.

Obviously the track remains central, which also completes its modernisation process, with the enlargement of the paddock, the building of a new covered grandstand, the complete resurfacing of the track, and new services.

All these steps are reported in this volume, Vallelunga 65 anni, storia e futuro. 350 pages, completed by the testimonies of many protagonists, and a CD with the results of the car and motorbike races since 1957.
