The book is dedicated to two personalities who, working together in a perhaps unrepeatable symbiosis, were able to create hundreds of beautiful and innovative cars with a "sartorial" philosophy that few others have managed to imitate.
The Vignale-Michelotti union was partly interrupted when Vignale moved to Grugliasco and Michelotti opened his own design studio.
All this is described in this ASI volume, by the coachbuilder's grandson, Alfredo Zanellato Vignale, a designer himself, who has pleasantly conveyed authentic first-hand accounts to the reader.
