Eberhard Mahle not only bore the name of a famous car parts manufacturer, he was also a successful racing driver. Between 1954 and 1968, he competed in rallies and competitions with thirteen different car makes. He achieved 150 victories and several championship titles.
With the European Mountain Championship in a Porsche in 1966, he won the first international title for the 911 and laid the basis for his success. This biography traces the life and racing career of Ebs Mahle, who died in December 2021 and whose way to fame was not without pitfalls.
