This book is dedicated to the German Röhr brand from Ober Ramstadt and to two particularly innovative pioneers of modern cars: Hans Gustav Röhr and Joseph Dauben.
The Röhr 8 is considered to be one of the milestones in German automotive development and has not been advertised as the safest car in the world at all.
Author Werner Schollenberger has previously published a volume on the subject - "A Chapter of German Automobile History".
His research on this almost forgotten brand continues unabated and has since led to a themed exhibition in the August Horch Museum in Zwickau.
The latest discoveries presented here offer an in-depth view of Hans Gustav Röhr's work and, in perspective, the basis for a new publication, a sort of "great book by Röhr" that will appear in the near future.
