FORGOTTEN RALLY PHOTOS
A COLLECTION OF RARE PROFESSIONAL RALLY PHOTOGRAPHS AND STORIES FROM 1975 TO 1982
Peter Smith began taking photographs of local, national and international rallies in the early seventies. He sold his images to competitors and motoring publications such as Motoring News, Autosport and Rally Sport. His work included PR and marketing for works and private teams and he was contracted to Colin Taylor Productions for international events.
Peter’s vast collection of motorsport images have been locked away for over 40 years and are now revealed in this collection - Forgotten Rally Photos - with captions and commentary by Jonathan Pulleyn, including personal anecdotes from drivers, co-drivers, team management and service crews involved.
These previously unseen pictures define the period 1975-82 – rallying’s golden years.
